Whoever said egg cracking was fun had a damn lie! You need to soak it in water first, we did it, let it stand longer than the instructions say. Took it outside for my 7 year old and 2 year old to pound it. My 2 year old is obsessed with dinosaurs so he was excited but that quickly ended when it took so long to get the tiny dinosaurs out! Both of my children lost patience after about 15 minutes of very little progress. You'll need to keep adding water as you go. It got soft enough to pull miniature dinosaurs out of, but by then my kids didn't want anything to do with them anymore 😂. I still have egg stains on my porch that won't go away. I mean if you and your kids want to lose patience with some miniature dinosaurs then go ahead and bang it out 😂😭.
