Review on Columbia Womens Thought Jacket Light Women's Clothing for Coats, Jackets & Vests by Melisa Byers

I bought this coat for a trip to Alaska this summer and loved the idea of being warm and waterproof. The average temperature when we are there is between 39 and 63 and we can get caught in the rain so I wanted something not very bulky but still warm and waterproof but much lighter than I expected. I'd say it's warm enough to about 40 but not much below without layers. It is true to size and looks good, I've had a few compliments on the color (I have grapes) and it's a very pretty color and the yellow is a lovely complement to the purple! I love this coat but don't expect it to be a cold weather coat!
