Died unexpectedly. No Response from Seller

Pros: This gun scans quickly compared to most others. It's wireless and basic setup is pretty quick. The base loads the gun and comes with a booklet of programming codes to customize the behavior. The Bad: Programming codes don't actually do what they say they do. The gun turns off at shorter intervals than specified in the program codes. As a specific example, if you program an 8 hour timer at shutdown, the gun will shut down after 5 or 6 hours. I contacted the manufacturer, they gave the same information in the brochure. There is no real answer as to why programming doesn't do what it claims to do. Ugly: One day, in the middle of using it, our computer suddenly stopped working. Just completely dead. Never turned on again. Tried to contact the seller here on Revain and got nothing but radio silence. If you want a product that works and you can rely on, you (and we) need to get something else. Luckily we try to always have a backup plan and since that failed we've been using our secondary hardware. We need to replace it with something more reliable. This lasted less than 4 months before we suddenly found ourselves with faulty devices.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
