Very easy to use: Office Electronics

This product is exactly as described and very easy to use. It has a long range as we scanned at around 75ft and had no problem catching the scan. I highly recommend this scanner.

Scan but don't type anything

The purpose of this scanner is to scan a gift card but when I use it as bluetooth on my iPad I was able to scan but then my touch the keyboard doesn't show up until I unplug it from my iPad. In short, it can scan but cannot type anything until the Bluetooth function is turned off.

good bluetooth scanner

It was very easy to set up and as soon as I connected it my husband literally went to the Amazon site and started scanning EVERYTHING within range. He scanned old boxes of GameCube games which showed my kids have some value in some old games if we decide to sell them.

Works great, very loud beep can be turned off

My battery cover is cracked. It works out. The only complaint is that your phone or tablet automatically hides the touch keyboard, but if you change that setting to show it even when a barcode scanner is paired, then you're fine. The only thing I would change is that the less bright ones when you catch your eyes it almost hurts, I'm talking about the blue ones that show bluetooth connected.

It is faulty and the seller gives false information

1. The seller gives false information. Said that this scanner can scan a specific barcode but it won't work. I checked the manual and nowhere in the supported barcodes is the barcode they said this scanner will scan.2. A scanner connected to an Android phone via Bluetooth renders the Android keyboard completely unusable. You have to disable the scanner, which is not easy/quick, before you can use the Android.3 keyboard. The Andriod phone freezes after turning off the scanner and requires a…

Well made and very easy to set up and use.

We really liked this barcode scanner - the scanner itself is well made from durable plastic and is comfortable to use for a long time. The scanner's laser beam is bright red and has a better than expected range of about 1/2 meter. It comes very well packaged with everything you need - it's plug and play so it just works with no driver discs etc. The manual is really good with clear instructions on all the setup modes, languages and option signs.
