Works well on exhaust and emissions

The top fitting may leak after replacing this canister. Don't blame the product. Inside is a tee with an o-ring that will likely need to be replaced. You need to take a small tool, remove the o-ring and replace it with a new one. In fact, you should try this first before purchasing this product. With my car with a mileage of more than 170,000 kilometers and the original canister, I decided to replace it. Another option for this snap-on tee if your car has room is to attach a small segment of tubing and a tee. If there isn't room in my car, I cut off about an inch of this plastic tube with a hacksaw. I put a small piece of tubing on top and a clamp on top. I don't recommend you to do it that way. Try the O-ring first. It was a relatively easy job on my Dodge Stratus once I figured out how to do it. Lift the rear wheel on the passenger side, remove the wheel, put a jack under it, lower the exhaust pipe down, two screws at the end of the exhaust pipe and a THICK rubber band that needs to be loosened about halfway. We will see. You can then access the canister, unhook the two hooks at the bottom, push up to unhook the top, about 30 minutes once you figure it out, otherwise maybe a couple of hours. ----Update 1-3-22-- -The original canister had a resistor in series with the signal. I went back and added the missing part later. 2004 Dodge Stratus X series with 4 cylinder DOHC engine. Look at the VIN on your vehicle.
