Review on LTERIVER System Gigabit Interface Card Realtek Solution Plug by Kyle Deel

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A ruby red circuit board with a 25mm heatsink protects the tiny RTL811H chip underneath from impact.

This card fits easily into the PCIe x1 slot on my Dell XPS Tower, which is basically what I want because the Dual GbE* LTERIVER card is also advertised for the PCIe x1 slots , not working in these slots Dell XPS x1 slots which were exactly the same as the ones I had with the corresponding Febsmart Dual GbE card but it WORKED in the Dell XPS PCIe x4 slot it's not that weird but I saw something very strange and worrying about this card I just replaced it with an EDUP brand RTL GbE card which was already there when I then reconnected all the USB cables to the XPS case and finally plugged in the power cord, the computer suddenly turned on, as if I had pressed the power button to turn it on, but I didn't and was surprised, then I shut down Windows and XPS and unplugged the computer's power cord, s plugged the power cord back in and AGAIN this weird thing happened, it turned itself on so I deleted the Remove the LTERIVER board and reinserted the EDUP-GbE that was there from the start and NO, this one weird thing didn't happen, it was NOT turned on by just plugging in the power cord, and in fact I've never seen this weird thing with any other card I've ever connected to Dell XPS PCIe slots, so I don't know, what to think about it, other than that it was very weird and I don't know how it's even possible. ---------- -------------* Dual GbE Card Reviewhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1G7D9833DSQZW
