Test Scenario: 20 miles, average pace 6:40/mile, 75 degrees and running on a hot day. Lots and lots of sweat. This shirt is made from 100% polyester. It's very soft and slightly stretchy, but not overly stretchy like some shirts. It's a slim fit, so a size M looks good on that 150-pound, 6-foot frame. It does not stick firmly to the skin. When I put it on for the first time, I was immediately struck by its lightness. The material is very thin, so thin that I expected it to be partially transparent, but it isn't (neon green). It is comfortable to wear due to its lightness and softness. It absorbed sweat well during my run. The shirt does absorb some sweat but it never felt like a soaked towel on my body like some shirts - just wet. And it stayed light even when wet. When I got home and tried to wring it out only a few drops came out - when I do it with some of my other running shirts it's like pouring a cup of water. I have a problem with my mileage. with nipple chafing, but this shirt did not aggravate this problem. I'm willing to pay $30-40 for a shirt of this quality from Nike. In fact, I have similar shirts from Nike and that's how much I paid for them. In other words, it's a steal and I'm happy with this purchase so far. If it lasts a few washes and doesn't fall apart, I'll buy more. Note. The care label says do not tumble dry. I don't know why and I've never seen that on a running shirt. It's a little impractical so I thought it might be worth mentioning.
