I have a hard time finding skin care products as most of them irritate my eyes. I've had more success with DHC supplements. I tried their platinum silver nanocolloid cream a few weeks ago and was very pleased, but after experimenting with a sample of astaxanthin gel the results were so fantastic I couldn't resist grabbing a full size jar to order. My skin is very sensitive and dry. Nothing I've used in the past has been able to retain enough moisture to prevent dry, rough patches from appearing after a few hours, even though I use a mild exfoliating mask a few times a week. So I was amazed at the ability of this gel to do just that. I apply a large amount in the morning and evening, after cleaning and applying it is very beneficial and absorbs very quickly. I find that the texture is actually a cross between a gel and a cream. My skin stays soft and smooth all night and into the next morning. I can't report any real change in appearance as I've only been using this product for a few days. A few reviewers noticed the smell, but I didn't notice anything unpleasant. The jar contains quite a bit of gel compared to many other moisturizers I've bought. I am very glad I placed this order and would give much more than five stars if I could.
