Everything changes with time. The stitched leather strap is fixed and will not come loose; but the lid doesn't close properly. The needle at the 6 o'clock hole is thinner so they can't round the end so it slides in and out of the little pocket that keeps it closed. But with a CoServ renovation in Mahwah, NJ, it's a true world clock that doesn't confuse.
