There are deviations, generally tolerable.
Gave two laptops to "upgrade" friends. One had a slot for one bar up to 2400, the other had two for 2133. So I took 8 gigs each. As a result, this bar did not work in the target laptop, I had to install AMD Radeon R7 Performance 8 GB DDR4 2133 MHz into it. And the Patriot is the opposite. If I had known, I would have taken 3 bars at once.
