Mom's kettle is broken. She had it for over 10 years. It felt heavy and hot (my kids had already burned their little hands on it). So I looked for one that was the opposite. I was unfamiliar with this brand, but I thought what the heck. Let us try it. Came in 2 days. I was shocked how easy it is. My mother has many health problems and lifting a heavy kettle didn't help. We'll try to remember to fill it in for you, but not this one. I mean we still fill it up haha but she can easily pick it up. The outside feels warm, but not to the same extent as its previous one. The main thing is that we like it! Plus the price was great!
