I've searched and searched for a kettle to replace my regular plastic free kettle that just died. It fills the bill. Customer service also responded to my email inquiry very quickly. It takes about twice as long to boil water as my last kettle, but that's a small price to pay for the lack of plastic. And it's just a few extra minutes. Also, the spout is well designed and the water doesn't slosh like my last kettle.

This teapot now lives with a British family in Florida where they receive regular training in making English tea. Mom's kettle is broken. She had it for over 10 years. It felt heavy and hot (my kids had already burned their little hands on it). So I looked for one that was the opposite. Bought in April 2019 and died in a pool of water he created. The device was used about 5 times a day. In the beginning it was great. At the end of the first month of use, I noticed that it doesn't always turn off. Didn't get the water to boil and was inconsistent. Product looks good and is safe, easy and convenient to use. But I'm disappointed - even AFTER THE FIRST USE, bad spots appeared on the bottom of the device. (see attached photo). 11/03/2019: I mixed 4 cups of white vinegar + 2 cups of water and boiled twice before using the kettle. As long as the kettle works very well. I use 3.4 times a day. There were no water stains. PROS: 1) Simple and stylish appearance, unlike other cheap looking kettles on the market.
