11/03/2019: I mixed 4 cups of white vinegar + 2 cups of water and boiled twice before using the kettle. As long as the kettle works very well. I use 3.4 times a day. There were no water stains. PROS: 1) Simple and stylish appearance, unlike other cheap looking kettles on the market. LOVE the design of the mirrored lid and the indigo blue indicator light. 2) The crescent-shaped design of the inside of the lid redirects the flow of water droplets and prevents water from dripping onto the back of the lid. (as shown in my video) 3) Appearance is warm to the touch after cooking (except for the spout). I don't burn my fingers. CONS: It is better if 1) there is a "heating function". 2) Stainless steel interior is seamless. I clean the inside monthly with a sponge. I've read some comments about water residue or stains building up on the bottom. I had the same problem when I lived in my old apartment. It's more of a water issue. After all, this teapot is no different from a cup, bowl or jug. If you do not wash for a long time, water foam will naturally form on it.
