Product looks good and is safe, easy and convenient to use. But I'm disappointed - even AFTER THE FIRST USE, bad spots appeared on the bottom of the device. (see attached photo). I only use purified water. and I've also tried "descaling" the unit with vinegar and water (as instructed in the instructions). Even wiping the steel with a clean, damp cloth didn't help. What gives? UPDATE December 10, 2018 - After posting my first review, I was immediately contacted by "Shirley" from Cosori Customer Service. Shirley really wanted me to be completely happy with the kettle and made arrangements (without my asking!) to send a replacement straight away. It truly exceeded my expectations and is nothing short of top notch service. I am really impressed! More importantly, before using the new kettle, I did a "rinse" with vinegar and water. This helped avoid the unsightly water marks I had previously complained about. I highly recommend you do the same when your kettle first arrives (and before the first boil).
