Bought in April 2019 and died in a pool of water he created. The device was used about 5 times a day. In the beginning it was great. At that point, of course, he never worked again. When I bought it it was $40. And that in just 3 months. Hassle and waste of money! My best recent kettle has been an old coffee maker from the 1960s. Sufficient for 5 years of continuous use. Since he died a year ago I bought 3 teapots and they all died. I guess I'll have to try it secondhand.
