Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Arltb Front Handlebar & Rear Seat Folding Bike Basket - Rust Proof, Easy Installation, 44lbs Capacity - Suitable for Folding Bikes and Mountain Bikes - Black/Silver by Tony Francis

Not everything is cooked to be.

It works as is. It can support its own weight and is stable when properly attached. Although the issues (or at least for my particular device) I've encountered detract from the quality of the experience. The plastic hoses they give you to protect the bike parts are difficult to put on if done wrong. It took me at least an hour to attach one to the basket, when I attached the second I made sure the hole was wide enough and it was smeared with water. When the basket is folded when it is attached to the bike, it does not fold easily, the hook holding the folded basket can grab it on the ground which is not really intended for it and stay together while it is actually the intended one Area is This is where the hook is supposed to be fixed, it takes some effort to pull it out and if you let go for a moment everything will open up and crush any finger in its path. The bottom end tends to scratch parts of the wheel frame, it is imperceptible when on but there is obvious paint chipping when removed due to friction between bike and pannier. It also rusts and is advertised as rust resistant, but with the pictures in my review this basket will rust within the first few days of use (especially when it rains). But in the end it does its job and is usable even if it's not as good as advertised.
