Reflective strips have not been tested but fit my 8-10lb Chihuahua well. I have the little one, his neck is about 12 inches long so I wanted him to have a bit of room but it fits better at the base of the neck when standing. I could get an xs, I think it will fit, but I went up a size. He wears collar and clothes well. I use a harness and will not use a leash on a collar, although it walks well and rarely pulls. I just moved the tag to the collar, not the ring. Satisfied, appears to be of good quality. The price was good.
