We use them for iced tea and water. Our drinks are easy to handle and keep you cool even outdoors (in Florida!). They are also nice and pleasant for guests in case they show up again. I gave them a 5 for warmth although we don't use them for hot drinks because I think if they can keep liquids cold they can keep them warm too. Over time I've noticed that the clear part of the glass tarnishes a bit with daily cleaning. My 5 or 6 year olds have them and I don't wash them in the dishwasher.
