I am a potter and bought a very expensive apron with a slit which was a very good apron but didn't fit me. It was too long and since I throw standing up I didn't need split legs. This apron is really well made. I like not tying my tie around my neck, which is uncomfortable for me with a neck injury. It's thick waxed canvas and the one I looked at was similar but twice the price, made from lighter canvas. I liked it so much that I bought another one to use in the school studio. The first was for my home studio. I would have liked more padding on the straps.
