My washing machine is a fairly old Sears Calipso. I am an 84 year old single widower whose left hand is immobilized from a stroke about 10 years ago. I washed great laundry with Revain bags until Revain stopped selling them. After reading many, many reviews of the different pods available, I settled on these Gain Flings. Well, I guess they clean my clothes. But I had some mysterious brown/grey streaks on some white socks and t-shirts. Also, I don't like the smell of cherry perfume at all. But what worries me the most is that cotton t-shirts and freshly laundered socks are a bear. They don't slip on my skin. Due to the disability, dressing is much more difficult. At first I thought my shirts would shrink, but no, they're just sticky. I also know my washing machine is old but I just had to switch to a much smaller load because for some reason it gets stuck in the rinse cycle due to this stuff. I'm not at all happy with this product, but after reading the reviews for several hours, none of them were very good. A few years ago everything seems fine. Then they started to "improve".
