Review on Dorman 600 936 Transfer Case Motor by Brandon Plowden

4WD Selector Switch. READ the included instructions to find out it comes in the 4hi position. The instructions say to manually adjust the transfer case position to 4hi and DO NOT try to adjust the transfer case motor manually or by wiring and just set the desired position without making a connection to the transfer case. I asked Revain how it came from the factory and one said it was in the 4-hi position and the other said plug it in and move it to the correct position. The APPLIED INSTRUCTIONS only have the answer to that question. Connected the motor to the transfer case and put dielectric grease on the wire connections and everything works as expected. Might be able to get another 340,000 for this old workhorse!
