Synthetic = Plastic

If you're hoping for real jute, you won't get this. The description says "synthetic" but I wasn't expecting plastic. I've used it for gift wrapping and making bows so far, but found that my hot glue gun somehow melted the tape. It's probably a permanent option if you use it for outdoor work.
