I had a tea bag filter for a long time, but one day it just fell apart. It was a pair of small square plates with holes in them that looked like they had just been spot welded to a bent piece of metal, and despite best efforts, the welding eventually failed. So when I was looking for a new screen, I wanted to find something solid with no welds. Searched and found this bad boy and decided to give it a try. This filter works great, just as good as my previous one, does its job well and cleans well. I only needed one but they came in pairs so at least I have a backup in case I ever break this one. Or now I have a gift for another tea lover in my life! Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this strainer to anyone who needs to squeeze tea bags!
