Our toddler loves them, they are lightweight (about the size of a pair of sneakers) and fit really well. The build quality is excellent and on par with adult hiking boots. There's plenty of ankle support and the Velcro closure ensures a snug fit without the laces. They are easy to walk and walk on as they are not very bulky. We have tested them on forest walks, in rain and mud, in lots of puddles, in snow and on very cold walks - feet and toes have always been warm and dry with no complaints! It is worth buying as you will definitely benefit from it. We also bought Mountain Warehouse hiking socks which complement the boots perfectly.
