Review on πŸ§– KingKam-Black Universal Collapsible Hair Dryer Diffuser - Travel-Friendly and Space-Saving - Fits Most Hair Dryers by Karen Watson

All in all it works well depending on your needs.

I've tried several diffusers and personally can't get past the space they take up. I will confess that I'm not the kind of girl who wants to spend hours doing her hair and I'm not a hair expert at any level. I can't tell you how curly my hair is. What I really wanted was a way to define my curls in an easier and more manageable way that was a little more sophisticated than letting my hair air dry. And I think it achieved that for me at a reasonable price and low storage space. I have a BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium which fits easily and was also able to install it on an older Revlon hair dryer but I think it's better. about 2 inches which is the inside diameter of the hole. It stretches a bit to allow it to slip off for a snug fit, but the limit looks like this: 1.9 or 2 inches. I'd say if your hair dryer has a narrow neck(?) it will probably fit, but medium or wide options require at least some measurement and maybe something else. As for strength, I will say that it will definitely collapse if more than half a pound of pressure is applied to it. So if your hair is really thick, heavy, or heavily curled, or if you dry your hair more aggressively than me, then this diffuser may not work for you, or at least may break more than mine. I don't tend to push it into my scalp (maybe nobody does πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ), just gently curl my medium hair as it dries to enhance my curls/waves, so it only does it occasionally and a bit more . as an annoyance. I still think it distributes my hair well and definitely better than most that come with hair dryers if you're lucky. For travel, if you agree with the above cons, I think this would be a good choice. It folds down to about 2 inches and because it's made of silicone, it's more shockproof than others when traveling. Obviously this is not universal. So unless you know what your hotel has to offer, you'll probably need to pack your own hair dryer to make sure it fits.

Pros
  • Fast drying time: Thanks to the increased airflow, the Magic Diffuser saves up to 75% drying and styling time.
Cons
  • Something else
