I bought this pillow along with a few other pillows for a long flight I was planning to take. What a great pillow! It's very soft and has great support and I definitely slept well in it. So why the low rating? It is designed as a travel pillow that can be made more compact for packing. There are two problems with it: 1. It's super heavy. Of all the pillows I've tried, this is the heaviest. It would not be good for travel if you worry about the weight at all.2. It takes a few hours to fluff it up so you can use it; The label said give it 24 to 48 hours (within 2 hours was fine for me). Once you unfold it, it's lumpy and uncomfortable, so you'll have to wait if you want it to be a good pillow. How is that a problem? I find that most of the time when you need a pillow that packs a little, you take it out of your bag WHEN you're ready to use it. You don't pull it out hours before and then leave it on your lap for a few hours until it's fluffy enough to use! The only time I find it useful is when you want to have it compact in your luggage. and you're not worried about the weight but want to use it on the bed you're traveling in so you can take it out and fill it up while you do other things during the day. If that's what you're looking for, then this pillow is for you.
