I bought these for an infected upper cartilage ear piercing. I wanted something I could leave in and not have to worry about it poking me. I also like the varying sizes and two colors. These work quite well and seem as advertised (hypoallergenic steel) but with the balls on, the posts are a bit shorter than ordinary studs which is frustrating. I've had these in several piercings for a few days and haven't had any issues. I do recommend but if your piercing is swollen these probably won't work for you. For healed piercings only.
