Bought this for my old laptop which I basically gave away to my kid. It's older and tends to get hot, so a cooling pad is generally helpful to keep it a little less hot. I bought this stand because it had decent reviews and was one of the cheaper options - obviously you get what you pay for. Per; It worked as expected for a week or two, and then one of the fans stopped working altogether. The LED still works, but the fan no longer spins. Nothing bothered me, not even dust, and it didn't indicate anything was wrong like fans sometimes do before they break down - no sound, no smell, nothing. just stopped I tried to see if I could move something or get it working again but to no avail. The other fan keeps spinning. for now. But it already seems weaker than it was.
