These connectors are very fragile. The plastic is fairly soft and thin polyethylene and the pins are not tight in either the socket or plug, so are quite wobbly. I expect these connectors to mechanically fail very quickly, especially for any application where the connector is mated and unmated frequently, as was the case in my application. Although they look like Neutrik knockoffs, the quality just isn't in the same league. That's ridiculously overpriced (I paid $8) for a connector that has the processing of something that came out of a crackerjack box. In fact, they shouldn't retail for more than 50 cents each.
