This is the cutest little hat. I bought it for my 4 year old niece who loves it very much. The material is nice and perfect for the beach! She even wears it when it rains sometimes. Her head circumference was larger than average and would fit, but I decided to order a size up. It's a bit big, which is what I expected, but I figured she could use it for a while without outgrowing it. Also, I figured if she ever got hair extensions there would be room in the hat for her ponytail or bun. The only minor downside is that the brim is quite long/big and tends to fall right over her eyes and blocking her view. I know this is to keep the sun off her face, so it's most likely because the hat is a bit too big for her at the moment. She just dips her hat in water and that helps her sit on her head without moving. I highly recommend buying this hat if you're looking for some cropped and practical sun protection!
