Review on 🔍 Floxite - 10X Magnifying LED Lighted Vanity Mirror with Dual Light Settings by Clare Thoms

My old version of this fluorescent flashlight started making a crackling noise so I figured it was wired inside and ordered a new one. I love LED lighting and still love the mirror with it's large diameter and zero distortion. I've read reviews that the base is very light now compared to the old one and I agree it's so light it feels too heavy now. I could see myself flipping it over and bouncing off the ground. Before I threw away my old version I decided to see if I could figure out what was wrong with it and I already had a spare bulb so I had nothing to lose. The new bulb came on but then went out, so I figured I was right about the wiring. I ended up taking the whole thing apart and still couldn't find the broken wire so I decided to just smash it up. BUT - when I removed the base I realized why it was well weighted. A heavy piece of metal was screwed into the base plate. I decided to look under the bottom panel of my new one and there is the exact same bottom panel but without the load bolted to it. The screw holes are still there, so I relieved the old one and screwed it onto the new base plate. Voila! Weighted base again! The company needs to bring these weights back in the new version, but I guess they just decided to cut the cost and not use them.
