Positive - Seat, backrest and armrests are designed for heavy use. Once adjusted it is quite comfortable and offers good support. Unknown - Airlift - time will tell. Looks like everyone else but brand new, offers solid positioning. The bad news is that you can spend hours figuring out the controls as there are no instructions included. Some have graphics to help. You just have to try others. (I still have one, I have no idea what it does or if it's broken.) The base is stamped sheet metal, so there's a footpeg ring here - not for your feet - it keeps your feet straight. The reel mounts on the ends of the legs are welded, but that doesn't prevent them from twisting or bending so the reels aren't held straight. A day later, the base was replaced with that of the old chair. This helped keep the chair stable during movement, but the lift cylinder design is farther from the seat than any other chair we've used. Therefore, when you try to move the chair forward, almost all of the weight is on the two front casters, making it difficult to start the movement and making it unstable. Moves backwards easily, so if you like walking backwards around the office you can't beat this one.
