Sanding is something I really dislike when working with leather. I hate it so much that I've tried almost every type of skinning knife/blade to find one that makes the process that little bit more bearable. This knife worked. The blade is incredibly sharp and the wooden handle feels good in the hand. This reduced the time it took me to complete this task by about 2/3. And for the first time tonight using a knife I found myself starting the sharpening process without irritation which is what prompted me to write this review. The only thing that confuses me is that there is no sheath for the blade when the knife is not in use.
