I usually use large Equate brand cotton balls from Walmart, but I use them for a lot of things (tonic, first aid, removing nail polish and makeup, cleaning thick fabrics). spots, cleaning my cat's and dog's ears, etc.) so I wanted to make a bulk order to save some money. It's a decent price, and the bag is huge (about the size of a standard bed pillow you buy at the store). These cotton balls are very soft and very absorbent (too good, I had to re-moisten them when using toner, which I never had to do with other brands). Most cotton balls are the same size, but some are smaller and some are elongated. Although they fit the size of my regular brand (Equate), I have found them to be less dense. So when they get wet they get smaller than Equate cotton balls so sometimes I have to use 1-2 more than usual. These are decent cotton balls for the price and quantity, but for the small amount of money I've saved I'll probably return to Equate once they run out.
