Review on 🚀 Attwood 8803LPG2S EPA and CARB Certified Portable Boat Gas Tank: 3 Gallon Capacity with Gauge, Red by Chase Shetler

Revainrating 2 out of 5

the sensor tube disintegrates in less than a year.

I read all the reviews and was concerned by all the comments about the tank that expands in the sun. I removed the tank from the boat after each use and kept it in a shed in a shady spot. After a year, save the tube (the plastic tube that connects the barbed fuel connector to the filter at the bottom of the tanks). I pulled the broken hose out of the reservoir and the plastic is sticky/tacky, looks like it's going to break, I'm assuming that's why it broke off (see pic of the yellow hose stuck at the point is broken where it connects to the black tip). I need a three gallon aquarium and live in California so my options are limited. I bought a second tank from a local marine supplier (cheaper than Revain). I got to just be careful and replace the intake manifolds if they break.
