This is a beautiful ring but I could swear when I ordered it he said it was 14k gold plated sterling silver. It's not silver, it's gold plated. This means that over time or the wetter it gets, it will fade faster and eventually turn green on your finger. So now I have to take the ring off every time I'm dealing with water, which worries me as I don't always forget to take it off before washing dishes and I'm afraid it will go bad quickly. Plus, it's beautiful, true to size, and so comfortable you'll even forget you're wearing it. Worth the money, be careful, it won't fade after wearing for a long time.
