I wear a US size 8 in this dress, I also bought a medium. I'm curvy with wide hips. My character is a hybrid of a pear and an hourglass. I bought this dress for an all white wedding. It looked stunning, fit well, was sexy yet conservative and I received many, many compliments. The "BUT" is that I couldn't dance in this dress - not because it was too tight, but because the dress kept rising with every dance move - literally, it will rise until you take it off. My dress was below the knee but was almost mid-thigh - thank god I was wearing a jumpsuit. Also, the back vent is very high, so I had to wear a jumpsuit to cover my thighs. I couldn't dance salsa because I had to take my dress off all the time, otherwise everything would come out. The dress is very stretchy and comfortable. So if you don't dance actively, this dress will suit you. However, if you like salsa, swing, or other dances that require a lot of movement, I recommend skipping this purchase.
