Review on Uxcell Solid Faux Queen Blanket by Tyrone Carter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

beautiful purple color on the bedspreads

beautiful true purple color a bit darker than the picture (on my iPad screen at least) which I prefer for this bed cover, it is oddly made and shows creases in the bed cover between each a thin layer of shaggy fur. The front and back are two different pieces that are sewn together at the edges, causing the blanket to bunch up a bit. It's also very thin, so thin I can see light through it! Considering I recently bought a 31" x 27" purple pink micro/shaggy quilt from the store for $19.99 that is twice the thickness of these quilts and doesn't have the odd shaggy layers like this one this one is overpriced compared to the quality you get and I wouldn't buy it if I saw it in person first, but while it's cute and my bed isn't your usual 70x84 queen, I am still happy to be able to get a huge shaggy queen blanket with it Protect my blanket from cats and that's why I'm keeping it, although I don't think it will hold up well as it's so flimsy and messy made! 4 stars for the colors and the presence of a large size and the lack of a dye / chemical smell. Update: Downgraded, the duvet has retained its color but has been washed warm/cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dried on a low heat. It now fits my 84" firm waterbed like a max 84-85" duvet and doesn't even hang down the side anymore! So basically 3 inches have shrunk on each of the 4 sides of the comforter, that's a lot of inches missing after one wash! Of course, I hope that the shrinkage is over, otherwise this purchase is useless.
