I gave it 5 stars as a 'starter' scrapbook but I wouldn't recommend it as a scrapbook for memorabilia that you want to archive and keep. 3.5 to 4 stars as a serious scrapbook. It's very cute and comes with everything advertised and I love how customizable the box, binding and pages are, but I don't think this scrapbook will make it work overtime. The quality of the materials seems cheap and I'm not sure about their archival quality. I bought this scrapbook as a "starter" because I'm new to the hobby and don't want to waste quality scrapbook supplies until I know what I want to do with all my photos and memorabilia and what items I actually need. The reason why I chose this as "Starter". ' is due to its low/competitive price (compared to similar scrapbooks listed on Revain), the included add-ons (pens and stickers) and the binding feature (you can add, remove and rearrange pages). I love that I can rearrange the pages because I don't know where to start my scrapbooking journey, and that way I'm not bound by one side coming first. middle or last. Also, if I accidentally mess up the page, I can delete the page without ruining the scrapbook. The quality is ok but a bit cheap. It doesn't feel or look like it will hold up very well over time. The pages seem to break easily if you turn them often enough. BUT the sides I've played with have withstood a lot of abuse caused by my hesitations in applying and rearranging stickers and photo glue. I have placed and removed at least 100 self-adhesive photo holders on two sides and when they were removed the side did not tear or dry out. I'm impressed even if sticker residue is visible on the black sides. One downside to note about true black pages is that the width is oddly shaped and small (L 10.25" x W 7") compared to the binding itself (L 10.5" x B 8.25"). So think about the size of the photos and memories you want to use for this album. I have many older, smaller photos that I want to use but need to organize appropriately. It's a little annoying but I'm done, I'm using this as a starter scrapbook and have no plans to keep the original photos here as the final cut. (Copies of my original photos are used for this finished product as explained below). The folder itself looks as it could be easily dented and fall apart with frequent use, but it can also be customized. Can write or draw, add stickers and/or flowers written out on the list).
