Water boils very quickly and stays hot for a long time. It's a bit awkward but for me as a man it's great but I know my mom will have a hard time pouring it. It's quite heavy when full and the handle is thick! It's hard to explain, but if you're perhaps older and have small hands, this might not be for you. But I like it, much better and faster than a kettle on the stove. Keeps water hot for a few hours. Cooks very quickly! It's just that the grip is unbalanced and thick. But no complaints about me as a guy just pointing it out.
