been to 5 different countries since installing this hd on my laptop. Laptop got wet in Malaysia while traveling to a remote island. I let the laptop dry for 3 days and it WORKS GREAT! Lenovo FTW read and write speed is around 420MB/s (speed is limited by chipset of my old laptop). Remember that you need to install Toshiba Utility software to enable the Over Provision feature in the SSD tuner. This feature (6 gigabytes of free space) added 2 minutes to the download time. now loads in 30 seconds or so. Awesome also has a firmware update available, but be aware that an update will erase everything. Therefore, perform an update before installing your operating system. FYI, I have no issues with the SSD without the upgrade. works perfectly. The update is also available in the tuner utility.
