First I would like to thank all the other reviewers especially those who have photos. I bought this product to get rid of a nasty old bleached blonde. I let my hair grow out for about 6 months before doing anything else with it. I finally stumbled across this article and decided it was time for a change. I followed other reviewers' advice: wash hair with shampoo (no conditioner), towel dry until damp, apply filler, wait 20-25 minutes, then apply brown color and wait another 25 minutes to rinse out . It is very important not to panic between waits. My hair turned bright red, almost pink, when I filled in the bleached ends, then turned orange when I added brown color (I used Garnier's 4.1). After 10-15 minutes it turned brownish. I'm honestly surprised and amazed by the results, I used to go from blonde to brunette but ended up with greenish ugly hair. This time there is no green or red at all, but a deep, full brown. Thank you thank you thank you! I saved so much money and time and my hair is in it!
