Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Stay Warm on Your Ride with Volt Resistance 12v Motorcycle Heated Gloves by Ron Patel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very warm - even on the lowest settings

I normally wear medium sized gloves but the reviews here say to order a size up which I did. It's hard to explain, but even 1 size up, the fingers were narrow in girth but short in length. Not bad, I could still control the clutch and front brake, as well as the shifters. I already have a tender battery that uses a SAE connector, so I bought a short adapter (SAE to connector). I had to cut the rings off the stick plug and replace them with an adapter. When making connections, be sure to keep an eye on the positive lead and make sure the positive battery lead goes to the unit's wiring harness - the one with the fuse assembly. I used crimp connectors and shrink tubing - they're pretty sturdy. I used the device for the first time yesterday (Thanksgiving 2017). It was in the high 20s and low 30s. I believe there are 4 settings. From highest to lowest: Red: Yellow: Green: Flashing green. I've found the GREEN level (second lowest) to be enough to keep my hands and fingers warm. Out of curiosity, I tried AMBER (yellow) and got sweaty hands, so I think RED and AMBER are suitable for arctic blizzards. At the moment I can only use them when connected to my motorcycle. I could design a 12v battery so I can use these gloves when shoveling snow etc.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
