I was very hesitant to order this as I felt a little intimidated by both the technology and the potential pain. Would it be "safe" enough to do laser hair removal yourself? I was pleasantly surprised that it is easy to use and virtually painless. You turn on the device, wait for it to indicate it's ready, apply it to the skin's surface until the light indicates proper contact, and then press the trigger. Depending on the power setting you choose, you will feel anything from total absence to a brief burst of heat. Even on the strongest setting on thicker sections of hair, I didn't feel uncomfortable. I didn't notice any redness and didn't need any gel or lotion after use and I have fairly sensitive skin. To make it even more painless, they have built in a "Cool" mode that allows you to cool the area where it comes in contact with the skin, making it more comfortable to work with. This is definitely a plus when dealing with sensitive areas or thicker/darker sections of hair. It has 5 power levels and an "automatic" mode. I'm still not comfortable enough working with it to try the "Auto" mode and prefer to make sure it's properly positioned and ready before I pull the trigger, but I imagine , that he could speed things up significantly in large areas. Maybe I'll give it a try when I have some practice. The device has lenses of two sizes: one for large areas (built-in) and one for small (bill of lading). A smaller lens comes in handy when you need more precision. It's important to read the instructions and tips before you work, and it's especially important to wear safety goggles (tinted goggles), which they generously provide. You should never look into the laser while working and probably use it privately unless your companions are wearing safety goggles. You shouldn't use it near your eyes to avoid the risk of injury - I wouldn't say over the tip of your nose. One safety feature I like is that it doesn't work unless the lens is pressed directly against the skin at a right angle, preventing excess laser light from "splashing". It is not suitable for darker skin (including dark tan). and also does not help with blond hair. You should also avoid using it where there may be dark areas on the skin, such as B. a mole or a tattoo. One thing I can't comment on yet is how effective this hair remover is. It takes a few months to really notice a difference and I only had it for a week. My review is based solely on ease of use, comfort, functionality, material quality, and pricing. I'm optimistic about the performance but can go back and edit this review if it disappoints or exceeds my expectations. Provided it works as advertised, I can recommend it with 4 stars.
