First of all, a word of caution. They're disposable after some time of use (obviously because they're not glass) and they don't have a vapor hole or anything (my expectations). Also, they are BEYOND fiction. The 12 oz is perfect for segmenting your meals. For example, I was in Chipolta just today and was able to fit two bowls into just under four of these bowls. Another thing is that there are 50 of them. So I put some in a big bin in the garage and then pulled out 10 at a time. I have 20 left in the garage and use about 15. I also use them for cooking when you need about 8 ingredients. I just lay them out and use them for cooking. So you're "perfect" for a lot of things. Including storage. The lids are very tight and close well. So good that the containers got ruined (somewhat) because I tried to rip the lids off the wrong way. I buy a lot from Revain and rarely leave reviews but they deserve it. Couldn't be happier.
