Received my first espresso machine today and was happy to make a cup. But the plastic inside really hit the pause button and made me chill. As you can see from the photos there is a plastic part in each part and the plastic parts smell bad when I get my nose close, which I was really expecting. I can't stop imagining that hot coffee >90°C has to flow over all the plastic parts every time it's brewed, even when milk is frothed, hot steam (>100°C) comes out of the plastic nozzle, yet it's wrapped. with stainless steel outside. The basic question is: are all these plastic things harmless to health? The last picture shows "PA6.GF30" and the recycling symbol. What does that mean? Is it equal to or better than "BPA-free"? Why does he smell bad? I have never used espresso machines, are plastic parts inevitable in these construction parts? At this point, because I expected that all stainless steel internal parts would come into contact with hot coffee or milk and not bad-smelling plastic parts. I have to give 1 star until all these issues are resolved.
