High failure rate is good for lighting and electrics
LEDs ship out of the box with a failure rate of 50% or higher. That said, 5 out of 10 doesn't light up at all - straight out of the box (I've tried setting it to both polarities). 4 more started flickering during the day and 3 of them went out and I had to replace them all. Of the 20 ordered, 5 had to be thrown out immediately, another 4 flickering ones were thrown out. I only use 5 bulbs and only needed the whole set for lighting. I don't have high hopes for the rest of the headlights.
