This wine bottle opener is extremely attractive and looks solid. So far it has worked fine. To use, twist the top handle to screw the pointed spiral corkscrew into the cork until fully inserted. Then, to remove the cork, turn the side handle to retract the spiral corkscrew while it remains in the cork and pulls the cork up. It easily removes the cork up and out. The cork remains intact.
