I have much nicer LED lights for photography. The nicer models are better built and feel a lot more solid and have a lot more features, but they do a good job in terms of delivering nice, clean light. The tripods leave a lot to be desired, but are light and suitable for desktop setups. This is actually my second set to use as workbench lights after 3D printing some custom brackets. Considering how much I paid for it, I'm very satisfied! EDIT: I have a few little things to share as I think they are important: 1) The USB plug that comes with it is nice and handy as there are two slots and both at the same time but over a period of about two months using Powered With frequent use, the plug just died. I checked it by replacing it with another one. It just isn't stiff enough and to make matters worse the interior of the fork has darkened, I assume due to the heat generated in the fork. Please be careful. 2) Regarding the above plug, the one supplied is great as it delivers a full 2 amps per plug. This is an important point because if you use a lower rated 0.5 or 1 amp plug you will find that your lights don't get very bright at all. As a result I'm downgrading to 4 stars because it's fantastic due to the fact that it serves its purpose but due to the fact that the supplied power plug needs to be replaced I'm clicking on it especially as I have issues with security.
