Review on LG Electronics 3485ED1002B Dishwasher Assembly by Peter Nobles

My pump died and was making a grinding noise. I could just buy a pump, but for a few bucks you can replace both the pumps and the heating element. I didn't even have to look for instructions on how to install it. It was pretty easy, although there are a few tricks I'll share. I threw the washing machine on its side. I took a picture of the wiring with my iPhone and double checked the wiring as I installed a new one in the picture. It was easy. Those are the two difficult parts. Plastic hanger brackets are very difficult to unscrew and even more difficult to screw on. The long crosshead will make your life easier. The other tricky part is planting this sucker. The rubber seal falls off the edge. It is very difficult to introduce. I ended up stepping on it with my food to slide it in there. It worked very well. Now he works like a champ. There are instructions on how to do this on YouTube. It really wasn't necessary.
